Happiness

Hello
How is your Bank holiday weekend going?
I Finally have the second layout from the May crop to share. It was also my entry into the UKS week 3 challenge which we (ScrapHappy) set! This was our first challenge and so much fun!

One of the requirements for the challenge was to scrap about something that makes you happy. After a lot of thinking I decided that seeing my lovely boys happy makes me happy!
The DP is Prima's Pastiche collection, Seaside. I used only one sheet of DP for the lo. The flowers are a mix of Prima Pastiche and paper roses from my stash. The Title is also Prima! Oh and the lace trim lol!
There are a few packs of flowers, a couple of kits and sheets of DP available HERE

The quote I found using Google along with hundreds of other great quotes, I must remember to add them to my file!
Enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday!
Thanks for stopping by

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #35

Hello!
Time for a new Recipe over on the Crafts 4 Eternity blog
This week we would like you to use the sketch, add some sequins and make something other than a card!
The DT Gallery is gorgeous, definitely worth a peek!!!
I had planned something completely different to what I ended up making lol! Inspired by cupcakes and Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry DP this is what I made......

A cupcake gift box!
No cupcake yet but hopefully I will make some next week. I really want to have a go at the American style cupcakes!

The box itself is made with some gorgeous Bazzill Bling CS. I guess you want to know where the sequins are??
There is one leaf shaped silver sequin in the flowers!!

The large rose I made following the class I taught a few months ago. Lots of distressed edges and glitter glue to finish.
I had planned to add a chef Tilda to the top but I just couldn't get the right pink! I tried Copics and Distress inks but none of them were right! It's like blonde hair I can't get blonde hair right either!! LOL! Maybe I'm just not a pink person? I'd better practise!!......now?? tea first! lol!
Have a great bank holiday weekend! Hopefully the weather will be nice!
Have fun!

Michele

Hello
This is the layout for the C4E May crop. The kit contained beautiful Prima papers, flowers and lace trim.
I found it hard to cut into these lovely papers lol!

The title is chipboard alpha stickers from Prima, they needed a little extra adhesive to stay put lol!

I used a Prima flourish stamp and Martha Stewart rose leaf punch with the beautiful Prima flowers. I added crackle glaze to the rose leaves which gave them a lovely texture.

Thanks for stopping by take care

The finished project is about 15" x 6" in size.

There was a lot of fiddly cutting out to do!!

The quote I found thanks to google!
The project was finished off with glossy accents and gems.
Have a great evening thanks for stopping by!

Royal Visit

Hello Happy Saturday!!!
I have a layout to share today. This was completed for UKS April Wk4 challenge.
Part of the challenge was to make your own background paper, I chose to do a stamped background directly onto the cs. I used some fabulous Tim Holtz stamps "Psychedelic Grunge" and distress inks. I did have a practise first lol!
The title was stamped as well and made it into some bunting, I also created some tickets for the rest of the title and journaling.
There is a lot of white space on this lo so here's a closer look!
and even closer lol!!
Ok yes the little girl is me! The story is that the queen was visiting Weston so mum got some plastic bags and dressed me up!
I'm off to play with some Prima goodies for next weeks c4e crop, yummy!!!!
Have a great weekend!

crafts 4 eternity recipe challenge #32

Hello!
It's Friday and time for another Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge!
This weeks prize is a Guest Designer spot on our team!
Head over to the blog HERE to see the challenge details and the beautiful DT Gallery!
Guest designing for us this month is the super talented Sarah!
This weeks recipe asks for a quote, something wooden and use the sketch.
I wanted a birthday quote for this weeks card so good old google found me some great sites and this fun quote! I played around with the fonts in PSP and cut it using a nestie die and the cuttlebug. Ink the edges, matt and plonked it on to some gorgeous Basic grey papers! My something wooden is the white flower!
Have a Fab weekend!

Cheeky!!

Hello!
I hope you had a good bank holiday!
A couple of you asked if I had made the flower in my last card, the pink flower that sits on the top was bought from The Works! You could make a similar flower by snipping into a strip of paper or fabric and rolling it, like a quilled flower.
I have 2 layouts to share today! These are the 2 April crop Layouts Cheeky and Off road. The kits are available HERE.

The first one is called Cheeky! Staring my munchkin!! He loves to pull faces at the camera bless him!!
I have stitched around the photos with my sewing machine, my straight lines are getting straighter lol!! Haven't tried circles again though!!
The second layout stars the monkey!! This was the first time he'd taken his bike to these woods and had great fun cycling around with his dad.
The Maya Road chipboard tree has been covered with PP before adding to the layout.
Thanks for stopping by!!
hugs
