Hello!
I have been struck by the lurgy!!! Yep, my nose has turned into Niagara Falls, My head is a pumpkin and the cough sounds like a bad car...lol!!! I know it's only a cold, but if the men can have "man flu" why can't we?...lol!! The boys have each got variations of the cold bug, Alix is dripping for England and Mikael has earache, tummy ache, cough....I think someone is trying to get out of swimming lessons...lol!! My theory is if you are well enough to run around shouting you are well enough for school!! It works for me! I was out of action for a couple of days last week, just couldn't concentrate on crafting and computers. I still have an annoying cough but I am clear headed again, i hate being ill, so frustrating!!!
I haven't done any scrapbooking for a while, I do have a number of LO in mind just haven't got to them yet. I have started a digital (hybrid) mini album/brag book of our holiday this year. There's still lots more to do, but I thought I would share some of the pages so far. The pages are free downloads from Digi mom designs and Kim B. Unfortunately I can't find their links, these brag books were downloaded through Digi-free which is a free digital freebie search blog.

The plan is to keep a digital version and to make a paper version too, we shall see, Christmas is around the corner and it gets busy in this house with Birthdays, carnivals, bonfire night, Halloween.....the list goes on...lol!!
Thanks for looking today I am off to visit some blogs!!!
Take care

Hello
How's the week going for you?
I am full of cold today, could feel it coming on yesterday...yuk!!
Alix is poorly too, runny nose..yuk yuk!!!lol
Mikael tried to tell me he was too poorly for school this morning...I don't think so little mate!!LOL if you can run around shouting your well enough for school...mean mommy..lol!!
So with runny noses, swimming lessons, C4E work, it's been hard to get this card done! PTW's challenge this week is another fab sketch from Katharina.I have made this card for my friends wedding anniversary, a little different for an anniversary card, but Claire is quite "funky" lol. Sorry Claire I know your anniversary is today! I have posted it...promise!!!
Happy 4th Anniversary sweetie!! can't believe it's been 4 years!! My 1st Anniversary is just over a week away, how time flies when your not paying attention!
Anyway here is the card... (close your eyes Claire...lol!!)

Materials

PP~Daisy Bucket~ Perfect Harmony

Ribbon and wire from stash

I did have a pink layer behind the pattern paper instead of the drawn border but preferred it without. I have been thinking about "white space" lately and trying it out on my cards. I also want to do more doodling!!

I'm off to get a coffee and paracetamol!

Autumn poems

Hello
With summer becoming a distant memory, (did we have a summer? lol)
I dug out some Autumn poems to share with you. Feel free to use these on your Autumn projects, (don't forget to credit the author).
~
Autumn Splendor
{Elise Natalie Brady}
There's a little twinge of sadness
When Summer disappears,
But Autumn brings new gladness
And joys this time of year.
~
Leaves Are Falling
{unknown}
Leaves are falling all around-
Red, yellow, orange and brown.
Twirling, swirling to the ground-
Look how many leaves I've found.
~
An Autumn Day
{Carmen Lagos Signes}
Pumpkins in the cornfields,
Gold among the brown,
Leaves of rust and scarlet
Trembling slowly down:
Birds that travel southward,
Lovely time to play:
Nothing is as pleasant
As an Autumn day!
~
Apples in Autumn
{unknown}
It's hard to eat apples,
Without my front teeth,
But apples in Autumn
Are really a treat.
The apples are squooshy
Down under my feet,
But those from the tree
Are still crunchy and sweet!
~
You can find more Autumnal poems HERE at the Crafts 4 Eternity blog.
Enjoy your day

C4E Sunday Sketch Challenge #7

Hello
I am sneaking in to post this today, I am banned today from my laptop and craft table as it's my birthday!!
I have posted this weeks sketch at the Crafts 4 Eternity blog
I have made my card with one of my birthday stamps, Hamish fixing tractor, what a cute little guy he is!!
The pattern papers are from Daisy Bucket, In The Meadow. I coloured Hamish with pencils and matched the colours to the papers. I love the versatility of these stamps.

I need a little practice lining Hamish up ! I stamped him squiffy and had to cut him out and re-mount onto white card...lol

I plan to use Hamish for Alix's birthday, he loves "trac trac's" lol!!

Well I'm off to watch "Ratatouille" with the boys!

Enjoy the rest of your day

Thanks for stopping by

Take care

PTW - challenge

Hello
The stamps have arrived!! OMG are they fab!! I love the fact that you can colour them to co-ordinate with your papers...cool!!! lol
This weeks PTW challenge was another fab sketch from Katharina. I waited for the stamps to come before doing this card and one for the Crafts 4 Eternity Sunday Sketch so I am a little behind, but so worth it, Tilda is such a cutie!!lol
Here is my take on the sketch...

Materials

Stamp: Tilda with flower

Colours: whispers brush markers, paintbrush and water!

PP: Playful Petals, Daisy Bucket

I can see Tilda appearing on alot of cards in the future. I haven't really got into stamping, I am more of a paper girl, can't resist a pretty paper!!LOL Tilda came with a few friends so I am off to play!! lol

Have a good weekend
